Do you feel unsure making decisions? Do you feel ill equipped to be a parent? Do you know how to be a good husband? Do you struggle to walk with Christ?

“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life…” Matthew 7:14

As followers of Jesus Christ we want to stay focused on the “path” as he leads us to eternal life. Jesus told us the gate to His kingdom is small and the path is narrow. The world is full of false teaching and temptations that make us veer from one side to the other. We all think we are strong enough to navigate the path on our own but none of us can. Our pride and self reliance inevitably lead to mistakes and we run off the road. And so we go stumbling through life clinging to our faith and hopefully learning from our mistakes. Knowing our weakness Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit a guide and a comforter. He also gave us unity with our brothers in Christ. Just as we seek the Holy Spirit we need to seek the wisdom of our brothers who have experienced the narrow path.

Partnering With a Mentor

How do I get started? How does this work?

“Calling the twelve to him, he sent them out two by two” Mark 6:7

You may be thinking that it is awkward to ask someone to be your mentor. After all they may say no. The Path can help facilitate a partnership but it’s always up to the mentor and partner to establish a relationship. After you complete the sign up information by clicking below we will attempt to match you with a mentor. You will be given his name and contact information. It’s up to you to initiate contact. The mentoring relationship though rewarding for the mentor is entirely for your benefit. Don’t expect your mentor to hound you to meet. Once you contact the mentor and have your initial meeting it is up to the two of you to proceed or not. Not all partnerships are right so either mentor or partner can opt to discontinue at any time. Just remember this can be very rewarding so the more you put into it the more your get out of it. So pretty simple. Sign up by clicking below.
