Become a “Case Maker” for Christianity
Ephesians 4-6

James Saxon
Room 201-203
In-Person Only

In today’s increasingly skeptical world, Christians are sometimes perceived as anti-intellectual. When challenged, the majority of Christians are not prepared to make a case for Christianity, and many even deny the need to be prepared in the first place. Come glean “case-making” insights from a former atheistic homicide detective who converted to Christ by applying his expert training in forensic investigation. J. Warner Wallace, the author of “Cold Case Christianity,” will be featured in brief video presentations that will help you build the case for faith in Jesus.

ROMANS – “I Am Not Ashamed of The Gospel for It Is the Power of God…”

Sam Corkran
Room 242
In-Person or Online

There is great JOY in feeling the wind of grace as funneled through the Living Word! His Word alone blows away our dead works, revealing our need for grace. If you are like me (a recovering Pharisee), you may struggle with sorting out all that Christ has done as distinct from what God requires from us. In this study, we will re-discover the Majesty and Joy of the Gospel as it is our freedom from condemnation and the comfort of our worship, as revealed in Romans 1-8. The first eight chapters of Romans are the foundational chapters of the Gospel upon which all applications of grace rest.

To learn about Sam’s story, view his testimony on our website at apostles.org/sam.

Women’s Group – A Biblical Worldview and Our Calling

Tonja Brice, Laurie Graffo, and Sherrie Rodriguez
Room 607-610
In-Person or Online

A complete biblical worldview is critical to every aspect of our Christian lives. Alternate worldviews abound in the culture today. We will examine the key narrative of the Scriptures and how we are to respond. We must be able to know and articulate our biblical worldview, and recognize Christianity’s contributions over the last 2000 years. God calls each of His children to participate and contribute to the world around us. We will explore and pray about individual callings and provide resources for those still seeking the Lord in this manner.

We will also define alternative worldviews to understand the impacts these are having on our culture today.

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” – Colossians 2:8
