Life Imprint Dinners are an extension of the Outreach Ministry of The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta. The purpose is to attract the unchurched and the de-churched and to feature a speaker who has a life story that 1) is so extraordinary that it leaves a deep, unforgettable impression on the soul of those who hear it and 2) frames the gospel of Jesus Christ in a powerful, compelling way.

Our Speaker for the 2019 Life Imprint Dinner is Scott Hamilton, a retired American figure skater and Olympic gold medalist.

Against what appears to have been insurmountable physical limitations, Scott Hamilton went on to master the field of figure skating and eventually won an Olympic Gold Metal and seventeen straight World Championships. He was the face of championship figure skating in the 80’s and its voice in the 90’s. After accomplishing everything he aimed for, he came to a place of emptiness where he saw his need for God. Scott’s story is one of overcoming daunting obstacles to reach his goal of being a championship skater, which ultimately brought him to the place of peace with God and himself.

All guests (seekers) are free, and we are requesting that hosts contribute $20 to the cost of the dinner. To learn more about this event, you are encouraged to attend an Orientation Meeting Lunch on Sunday, January 6 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. in The Commons. Please register for lunch by January 2.
