The Church of The Apostles uses Ministry Platform (MP) to maintain our member directory, manage event registrations, promote service opportunities, and help our church family engage in the life of the church.

By using our app, you can:

Check in your children to classes using FastPass.
Register and pay for upcoming events.

FAQs

How do I get the Ministry Platform app?

Our church app is available for both Apple and Android devices and can be downloaded from your device’s app store. Once downloaded, log in using your MP account email address and password.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Users can individually opt in or out of sharing location data. It is a user choice; however, we do not currently use your location for any app functionality. If you opt out of sharing your location, you will not lose any app functionality.

What if I have the old Apostles’ app?

If automatic updates are enabled in your iPhone settings, the old app will update to our new app. If you are an Android user or have an iPhone with automatic updates disabled, please delete the old app and download the new one. We no longer support the Subsplash app, so functionality will be limited and outdated. The old app will also show a banner reminding you to download our new app.

How do I login to Ministry Platform?

On the app Log In page, you’ll see a hyperlink in the bottom-right corner labeled “Create an Account”. Click the link, enter your information, and click Next. An email will be sent to the provided address containing a one-time code. Enter that code and verify it to create your account.

Please note that there can be only one account per email address. For the best experience with Ministry Platform, spouses should use different email addresses to create their accounts.

Do I have to be a member to use the app?

No, the app can be used by everyone! If you want to register for an event, you must create an account or sign in to Ministry Platform. You don’t have to be a member to register for events. However, there are app features accessible only to members, such as viewing our member directory.

How do I use Ministry Platform on my computer?

You can login to your account online.

How do I give using the app?

Click the “Give” icon at the top of your dashboard or hit the menu (two lines in the top, left corner) where you’ll notice “Giving” halfway down the menu.

Please note, either option will pop you out to our website to give, and donations will show in your giving history once processed by our financial team.

How do I see my giving history in the app?

Click the circle in the top-right corner of the screen (it will show your photo if we have one on file). In the menu, you will see two options to view your giving history.

Click “My Account”. You will be redirected to our website, where you can view your giving and contribution statements and any event balances you may have. Please note, you’ll also have to log in to your account on the webpage before you can view your details. Be sure to click “Remember me,” and you will not have to log in again on your device.
Click “My Giving History. It will list your donations within the app in a vertical scroll from newest to oldest. The bottom of this page also includes options to visit our give page or view your contribution statements. Unlike “My Account”, this view option is only available in the app.

Please note that your giving history will reflect the past 4 years, including the current year. Your giving history may take a couple of days to reflect recent donations, as a manual process is involved in recording them.

How do I register for an event in the app?

Click the “Events” icon at the top of your dashboard, use the scrollbar of ‘Upcoming Events’ on the Dashboard, or hit the menu (two lines in the top, left corner) where you’ll notice “Events” near the top of the menu. Any of these options will take you to our events page, where you can first select whether you would like to view our events using a calendar or list view, then select the event that interests you and click ‘Register’ at the bottom of the page. From there, select your registration option, answer any accompanying questions, and click register (you’ll be directed to an external page if the event requires payment).

Please note, if you registered for an event that requires a deposit, you can always view your balance by clicking the circle in the top, right corner of the screen (which will show your photo if we have one) followed by “My Account”, which will pop out to our website where you can see your giving, contribution statements, and any event balances you may have.

How do I update my contact information and photo?

There are two ways to update your contact information in the App.

Click the circle in the top-right corner of the screen (it will show your photo if we have one). Once in that menu, select “My Account” to access “My Household” to edit the household member.
Select “My Account” in the top-right corner navigation to access “More Account Options” to update your street address or share an emergency contact (which is only visible to church staff). You can also manage your preferences for the online directory here.

How does the online directory work?

Only members and staff are visible in our online directory, and only members and staff can view our online directory. To navigate to the directory, scroll to the bottom of the app’s dashboard. It is not possible to browse the directory; you must search for the person you are trying to find.

By default, only your name, photo, and household link are displayed in the directory. You can opt in to have your email, mobile number, and street address (linked directly to Google maps) visible by clicking here (or update your “My Household” information under “My Account” in the top-right corner navigation). You may also opt out of the directory entirely using that link. Please be advised that there is a verification process for updating your profile, so changes may take a couple of days to appear.

Who can see my personal information?

We take your privacy very seriously. Most of your data is only available to church staff with positions relevant to that data, and the online directory is *only* available to members and staff of the church. At most, you can share your photo, name, household link, email, mobile number, and street address with other members of the congregation (or opt out of the directory entirely).
