I grew up in a church-going home and under a mother who taught us the Scriptures from a young age. At the age of 8, I remember finally understanding that I was a sinner and that, by grace through faith in Christ, I could be forgiven and made right with God. I trusted in Christ that day, and God has been faithfully teaching and changing me since. At the age of 18, I sensed God’s leading me into ministry. I attended the university of Mississippi where I met my wife, Laura. We were married in October of 2004, and, that same year, we moved to Louisville to attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I graduated with my Masters of Divinity in December of 2008 and moved to Georgia several years later. Since that time, we have been ministering in the Atlanta area. During our 12+ years together, Laura and I have seen our family grow to include our 7 children: Mikias, Molly Kate, Miles, Madden, Maggie, Mallory, and Maxton.
