My beloved friends,

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus issues an invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Only He could issue such an invitation because He is our creator. Not only does He intimately know every detail of our lives, but He knows every need that we have, even before we know them ourselves.

As we continue to move through this trying time, I encourage you to take Jesus up on that offer, to come to Him with your burdens, and find the rest that only He can offer.

We encourage you to tune in this Sunday for both a continuation of the ongoing Adult Bible Class at 9:00 a.m., as well as the 10:30 a.m. worship service. This week, I will be bringing a message entitled “Do Not Be Anxious.”

We will be streaming from The Church of The Apostles website as well as Facebook.

We invite you to worship with us in your homes from around the city and the world, and we look forward to the day when we can meet together in person!

May the Lord continue to make His presence known to you in many ways that will comfort your heart during this time.

In His Service,

Michael Youssef, Ph. D.

Founding Rector
