A Message from Dr Michael Youssef

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 11:2

My beloved friends,

In this time of uncertainty, we tend to want to absorb all the information we can about this crisis until we are overloaded. We find that it weighs down our hearts and it weighs down our souls. It is when we look to Jesus that our hope is renewed. He carries our burdens on His shoulders!

When we switch our focus from the TV screen to Jesus, we see what Jesus wants us to see. We see friends that need a reassuring voice, neighbors who need help, and the lost who need to know about the eternal hope in heaven with Jesus.

So that we might continue to encourage you, we will be streaming the worship service and sermon at 10:30 AM on Sunday. We will worship in our homes from around the city and around the world, for nothing can stop God’s people praying and praising! Join us then and take advantage of the countless materials we have available both on the Leading the Way and The Church of The Apostles website.

May the Lord continue to make His presence known to you and many ways that will comfort your heart during this time.

In His Service,

Michael Youssef, Ph.D.
Founding Rector
