Tuesday, September 12 – November 14, 2023 | 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. | Room 237 | Cost $15 | In Person
Leader: Vicki Gillespie
The Book of Isaiah carries one of the greatest mysteries of the coming Messiah – that He would be both the suffering servant and the victorious King. This dual mission has created misunderstanding, confusion, and controversy throughout history.
In order read Isaiah’s prophecies correctly, we will let Scripture interpret Scripture by looking to their fulfillment in the words and life of the Messiah. As we study Isaiah 40-66, we will compare Isaiah’s prophecies and their specific fulfillments in the New Testament accounts of Jesus’ life, ministry, and His future coming as the victorious King in Revelation.
May God grant us to see new and rich blessings in our understanding of the Father’s magnificent plan throughout history for our redemption. Won’t you join us?

Why is God’s Kingdom above all others? The answer lies in its King. The King of Kings left His throne in heaven to be born as a Man to die on the cross to save a wayward people. We will travel verse-by-verse through Matthew to watch, hear, and learn from this King. We can’t know the answer to “What would Jesus do?” unless we get to know Him through Bible study and prayer and seek to follow Him. Lord, help us to be true witnesses of the glory of Your gospel!

Join us as we study the book of Hebrews. We will contrast the Old and New Covenants, seeing Christ as preeminent above any Old Testament laws, priests, rituals, or sacrifices. Guided by the writer of Hebrews, we will see that because of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, He is the perfect sacrifice and our High Priest, granting the believer unlimited access to God. Throughout our study, we will use resources from John Macarthur and Nancy Guthrie to apply the ancient principles from Hebrews to our lives in the twenty-first century. We will spend time in corporate worship and prayer each week before moving into study and group discussion of God’s word. We invite you to join this lively and lovely meeting of women who strive to grow together in faith!

“I just can’t be a mother today.” These words have been whispered to God in quiet desperation by mothers who love their children to the depths of their souls but struggle with motherhood’s difficulty.
This fall, we will study the book, “Desperate” by Sally Clarkson. It is the story of one young mother’s trials and one experienced mentor’s priceless exhortations. It is not a book about despair, but rather life-giving encouragement, help, and answers to some of your wrenchingly honest questions. For nine weeks this fall, we will fill in the blanks on these three sections of the study: “THE DREAM LIFE…ALTERED,” “GETTING REAL ABOUT MAMA-HOOD,” and “THE REDEEMING.”
Mom to Mom is an intergenerational discipling ministry intended to come alongside mothers desiring to grow in:
- Their knowledge of God’s Word.
- Their ability to apply God’s Word to their lives.
- Their ability to apply God’s Word in their parenting.
Each session will include 45 minutes of teaching and 45 minutes of small-group interaction with fellow moms that will encourage, challenge, and build lifelong relationships.
