Year End Giving // Through December 31
GriefShare // Begins January 9
Grieving the loss of a loved one, whether recently or in the past, is an emotionally wrenching experience. With over 25 years of helping people find comfort, GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where the difficult emotions of grief may be shared and eventually understood. During this 13-week support group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what “normal” looks like when experiencing grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, through encouraging videos and small group discussions, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support for each step of the way.
DivorceCare // Begins January 9
Many people will tell you that their marriage ending was the most painful, confusing, and stressful experience they’ve ever faced. Don’t go through it alone. DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce. Over 1 million people have found comfort and hope through this 13-week, video-based series that offers helpful counsel for your emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. The class will meet on Tuesday evenings with video, teaching, and small group discussion facilitated by Kimm Hill and Erin Donohue.
CrossCurrent // Begins January 9
CrossCurrent: Beyond Brokenness is a safe, confidential, Christ-centered—no judgment zone—for those seeking truth and grace in their relationships, sexuality, hurts, history, or addictions. Each evening includes worship, teaching, testimony, and same-gender small groups.
Come and experience an encounter with the Holy Spirit and understand the gospel and its application at a deeper level.
No matter how broken we may perceive ourselves, God upholds us in hope. His love for us never fails!
Women’s Coffee & Community Pop-Up // January 20
WOMEN’S COFFEE & COMMUNITY POP-UP
January 20 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The Commons | Cost: $5
Led by Casey Hawley
A Morning of Fellowship, Adoration, Bible Study, and Fun
One of the most delicious earthly experiences is diving into the Word with an old friend or a new one. Coffee & Community is a morning set aside to share that experience with other women as we walk through the Book of Joel together. This is an interactive experience. Get to know women at Apostles or bring your friends to fellowship in this very intentional way.
Together, we will mine the treasures of Joel, a book that is ultimately encouraging to believers but a nonbeliever’s worst nightmare. We will study His promises for the future Day of the Lord and refresh our hope because the Lord is in our midst in our shattered world today.
You can participate as much or as little as fits your comfort level in a Biblical treasure hunt, a team crossword, and other ways to celebrate the joy of God’s Word. Put on your comfy clothes and spend a full morning not focused on a speaker but digging into the Scripture. If you start the morning as strangers, you won’t be by the end.
Life Imprint Dinner with Lee Strobel // January 26
Women’s Winter Retreat // February 15-17
The world is in great upheaval. How do we keep our hearts from being troubled? We rest in the sovereignty of God. He has a plan, and nothing will thwart it. We will see that God is not just allowing certain trials or blessings to happen; He is making sure we don’t miss them. It all matters – the trials, the blessings, and even the seemingly mundane. Through examples from the lives of Joseph, David, and Paul, we will be encouraged to know that we can settle our hearts by hoping in, strengthening in, and relying on His sovereignty. We’re at war, and our King is the Victor. Our life stories are being written for His glory and our advantage as we fight the good fight. The One who loves us has promised to never leave us. He is ruler over all, and nothing is too hard for Him. When we come to God through Christ, we could not be in better hands.
We are excited to announce that this year’s retreat will be held at Callaway Resort and Gardens! The retreat will take place from Thursday, February 15th through Saturday, February 17th.

CORE: Next Generation Discipleship // Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Discipleship is at the core of the Christian faith. Without discipleship, Christianity would not exist.
CORE: Next Generation Discipleship specifically focuses on raising up the next generation of leaders in our church. Our hope and prayer is for people to grow in their love and understanding of God, especially the person, work and ministry of Jesus Christ and how that impacts every area of our lives.
We will start a new season of CORE on Wednesday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m. in room 229.
*This class offering is for those in their 20s – 40s.*
Living Waters // Application Deadline Extended
“Where can I go to share my pain and struggle? Will anyone listen to me? How can I find hope in my struggle? I’m alone and afraid to tell anyone what’s really in my heart.” – LW Participant
The discipleship and prayer ministry of Living Waters addresses the roots of relational or sexual issues that ensnare Christians into unhealthy living. Living Waters is about finding a way to admit brokenness, dig deep to understand why we are broken, and finally accept the fact that the only way to wholeness is by discovering the healing power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
