Women’s Winter Retreat // February 15-17
The world is in great upheaval. How do we keep our hearts from being troubled? We rest in the sovereignty of God. He has a plan, and nothing will thwart it. We will see that God is not just allowing certain trials or blessings to happen; He is making sure we don’t miss them. It all matters – the trials, the blessings, and even the seemingly mundane. Through examples from the lives of Joseph, David, and Paul, we will be encouraged to know that we can settle our hearts by hoping in, strengthening in, and relying on His sovereignty. We’re at war, and our King is the Victor. Our life stories are being written for His glory and our advantage as we fight the good fight. The One who loves us has promised never to leave us. He is ruler over all, and nothing is too hard for Him. When we come to God through Christ, we could not be in better hands.
We are excited to announce that this year’s retreat will be held at Callaway Resort and Gardens! The retreat will take place from Thursday, February 15th through Saturday, February 17th.
CrossCurrent // Begins January 16
CrossCurrent: Beyond Brokenness is a safe, confidential, Christ-centered—no judgment zone—for those seeking truth and grace in their relationships, sexuality, hurts, history, or addictions. Each evening includes worship, teaching, testimony, and same-gender small groups.
Come and experience an encounter with the Holy Spirit and understand the gospel and its application at a deeper level.
No matter how broken we may perceive ourselves, God upholds us in hope. His love for us never fails!
GriefShare // Begins January 9
Grieving the loss of a loved one, whether recently or in the past, is an emotionally wrenching experience. With over 25 years of helping people find comfort, GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where the difficult emotions of grief may be shared and eventually understood. During this 13-week support group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what “normal” looks like when experiencing grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, through encouraging videos and small group discussions, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support for each step of the way.
DivorceCare // Begins January 9
Many people will tell you that their marriage ending was the most painful, confusing, and stressful experience they’ve ever faced. Don’t go through it alone. DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce. Over 1 million people have found comfort and hope through this 13-week, video-based series that offers helpful counsel for your emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. The class will meet on Tuesday evenings with video, teaching, and small group discussion facilitated by Kimm Hill and Erin Donohue.
OASIS: Caregiving Connections // Today
Statistics show that a growing percentage of people are shouldering the burden of caring for an aging loved one. This luncheon will provide answers to common questions and access to local resources that address many common needs and concerns:
- Health, fitness, and well-being
- Loneliness and isolation
- Transportation and help around the house
- Mobility, sensory, and cognitive decline
- Home care, adult day care, and respite care
- Aging in place improvements and repairs
- Safety and security (including against financial fraud)
Caregivers are in all ages and stages of life, so whether you’re a college student helping care for an aging parent or a older adult caring for a ailing spouse, this seminar will better equip you to love and support them well through this season of life.

CORE: Next Generation Discipleship // Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Discipleship is at the core of the Christian faith. Without discipleship, Christianity would not exist.
CORE: Next Generation Discipleship specifically focuses on raising up the next generation of leaders in our church. Our hope and prayer is for people to grow in their love and understanding of God, especially the person, work and ministry of Jesus Christ and how that impacts every area of our lives.
We will start a new season of CORE on Wednesday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m. in room 229.
*This class offering is for those in their 20s – 40s.*
Living Waters // Application Deadline Extended
“Where can I go to share my pain and struggle? Will anyone listen to me? How can I find hope in my struggle? I’m alone and afraid to tell anyone what’s really in my heart.” – LW Participant
The discipleship and prayer ministry of Living Waters addresses the roots of relational or sexual issues that ensnare Christians into unhealthy living. Living Waters is about finding a way to admit brokenness, dig deep to understand why we are broken, and finally accept the fact that the only way to wholeness is by discovering the healing power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We’re asking for grocery gift card donations and gently used clothing items.
The only thing not accepted are undergarments. The items they are most in need of are sweaters, coats, jackets, etc.
When you arrive at church and park in the parking deck on the drop-off Sundays, please place your donation bag(s) on the ground behind your vehicle for easy pick-up. Someone will pick them up while you are in the service. For gift card donations, there are several secure boxes inside the church where you can donate your gift cards.
