The Church Scattered
We live in unprecedented times.
Facing a pandemic and global shut down, our church body can no longer meet in person.
We have hope, however, because our God has gone before us. We have hope because this is not the first global crisis the body of Christ has weathered and in times such as these, we have the opportunity to be a light shining in the darkness.
We have hope because God has prepared us for a time such as this—and despite the distance between us, our church family is meeting online through teleconferencing and social media: encouraging one another, deepening our knowledge of the word of God, and sharing the Gospel in ways that we have never imagined.
We have hope because our God is sovereign, and His Will will be done.
Carry the hope of the Resurrection with you into the weeks ahead, making use of the technology available to fellowship with your church family, as well as spread the Gospel to those who need to hear it.
Please pray that God would continue to use these circumstances to renew the church, bring sinners to repentance, and spark a revival across the globe for His glory.
