Membership
The goal of the Women’s Ministry at The Church of the Apostles is to see every heart touched and changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to connect the women of God around the Word of God so that they can share in the work of God. We do this by seeking to strengthen bonds of community across generations, cultures, and life stages.
Here are some of the different communities we offer:
Weekly Bible Studies
Join in community with other women and study the Word of God through times of teaching, worship, and prayer. Bible studies are offered at various times and days of the week. A listing of our current Bible study offerings can be found
Single Hearts for Christ
Single Hearts for Christ is a fellowship ministry for single, divorced and widowed women that brings Christian women together to enjoy, enrich and support one another. For more information about Single Hearts for Christ, contact Jan Blakeslee at jblakeslee@apostles.org.
Widows Network
Widows Network provides encouragement for Apostles widows through monthly luncheons and special events.
Mom to Mom
Mom to Mom is an intergenerational discipling ministry intended to come alongside mothers desiring to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word, their ability to apply God’s Word to their lives, and their ability to apply God’s Word in their parenting. Each session will include 45 minutes of teaching and 45 minutes of small-group interaction with fellow moms that will encourage, challenge, and build lifelong relationships. Woman to Woman
Be faithful, be fruitful. Being mentored by an older woman who has walked in obedience to Christ through many seasons of life can provide encouragement, guidance, and support to younger women who desire to grow spiritually.
Women of the Word
Each year Women of the Word offers a scripture meditation and memorization plan around a different theme or passage of scripture.
Operation Christmas Child Crafters
If you enjoy arts and crafts, join our network of women who use their talents to bless others. Each year, this group works together to create dolls and other gifts for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
Prayer Groups
We offer several different prayer groups and invite women of all ages and stages of life to join us in boldly approaching the throne of grace:

- Tuesdays | 12:15-2:00 p.m.
- Praying for the Next Generation
- Single Hearts Prayer Group
- First Saturday of Each Month| 9:30-11:00 a.m.
- Women’s Ministry Prayer Team
- Wednesdays | 4:00-5:00 p.m.
