We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our communities. In that spirit, we are pleased to launch the “Adopt a Ministry” program, which will assist our members with making contact and actively engaging with one of our supported ministries.

We believe a greater number of people, especially over the course of several years, will become acquainted with, and possibly even personally involved with, the various Atlanta area ministries that Apostles supports.

Here’s how it will work: A group adopts a local Atlanta ministry for a period of one year. During that year, the group adopting commits to the following…

  1. Get to know your adopted ministry. This may involve people from the adopted ministry coming and sharing with your group details about the ministry, along with individuals from your group visiting the ministry.
  2. Plan up to three times to serve with your adopted ministry. The ways in which your group members can get personally involved with your adopted ministry will vary based on how your ministry functions, along with their specific needs. We suggest groups consider planning a time to serve once in the spring, summer and fall.
  3. Commit to pray for the specific needs of your ministry throughout the year.
