2025 Men’s Retreat
Gentlemen, you are invited to our first-ever Men’s Retreat, April 25-27.
Join us at the beautiful Callaway Resort & Gardens for a weekend of spiritual sharpening, mentoring, and relational growth. With 100 men expected at this event, we’ll dive into challenging topics, learn from God’s Word, and encourage one another as we grow in our faith.

About Our Speaker
Jim Wood is a regular guest preacher at The Church of The Apostles because his sermons here over the years have been highly impactful.
In 1991, Jim and his wife Susan founded the Wears Valley Ranch in Sevierville, Tennessee, a ministry providing Christian homes and Christian education for children struggling with difficult family situations.
We look forward to hearing Jim teach us from his passionate heart and commitment to lead men in their spiritual development.

Retreat information
Program
We’ll kick off Friday, April 25, with a reception at 6:00 p.m. and the first session at 7:30 p.m. The retreat will end Sunday morning with an early session and breakfast. You’ll be able to make it back to Apostles in time for the 10:30 a.m. service if you like.
Location
The Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, offers many activities and attractions such as hiking, biking, golf, spa, the Discovery Center, Butterfly Center and Conservatory, and more. Feel free to schedule any of these activities either before or after the men’s retreat. We will not have time for these during our retreat.
Lodging
Men will stay in the two-bedroom cottages at Callaway. Each bedroom is equipped with two queen beds. We plan to stay with four men in a cottage (two per room). You may choose to have your own bedroom at a slightly higher rate, if still available. See the registration form for details.
Optional Activities
Friday activities are being organized for anyone who is interested. For a round of golf, contact Steve Nyberg at (864) 567-4603. For an invigorating bike ride, contact Bill Worth at (770) 290-3858.
Registration
Registration is open for men (21 or older).
The non-refundable registration fee is $279, or $379 if requesting a single room (limited availability). The registration fee includes the retreat, lodging, and meals for Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday morning.
