Over the past 15 years, hundreds of married couples from Apostles have deeply enjoyed our Marriage Retreat while investing in their relationship.
Join 50 other Apostles couples and many others attending this special and significant getaway at The Cove, in the picturesque mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina.

About This Year’s Speaker
James Merritt is the host of Touching Lives, a worldwide broadcast ministry. He is the pastor of Cross Pointe Church in Duluth, Georgia and formerly served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention. James is the author of more than a dozen books, including What God Wants Every Dad to Know – the most important principles you can teach your child.
James and his wife Teresa are the parents of three adult sons and have five grandchildren.
Retreat information
- October 24-26, 2025, at The Cove, outside Asheville, NC.
- Registration is open to married couples who attend Apostles.
- The cost is $549 per couple. ($499 early-bird registration until March 31)
- All registrations become non-refundable after September 12.
- The retreat begins on Friday with an arrival from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and ends just before lunch on Sunday.
- The registration fee includes the conference, lodging, and five delicious meals. While couples from other churches will attend, Apostles will be able to have our own small group times (by popular demand!).
