Kevin Cuthbertson: Encouraging One Another

Let us not give up on meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:25

Our church values the regular gathering of the people of God because the Bible values it. Yet, here we are in a time that calls us, both for the sake of wisdom and of love, to not meet face-to-face due to the coronavirus.

So what do we do? How can we as a church continue to meet together without in fact meeting together?

Kevin Cuthbertson offers some insight on being an effective church family while we are scattered.

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO
Regularly put God’s truth before you.  Be reminded of who He is, what He’s done, and the promises that Jesus has bought for you.

As you are encouraged, share with others through phone call, text, or social media what God is teaching you and how you are encouraged.

Reach out to brothers or sisters in the church and ask how you can be praying for them.

SUGGESTED PRAYERS
That God would give you wisdom and grace to encourage others in this time of need

That God would give you eyes to see need around you.

That God would bless and protect those who are putting themselves in danger to serve others.

That God would glorify His Son, build His church, and spread His Kingdom through this trial.
