ELISE WILKES: HOPE IN THE MEANWHILE
In the Bible, time after time, we see God’s hand of providence working behind the scenes during difficult chapters to write another part of His story—one that cannot be seen with physical eyes. In these moments, the Bible often uses the transition word, “meanwhile.”
During the Christmas season, we celebrate the most meaningful “meanwhile” in history: the birth of Jesus. During this season, may you be encouraged that God is always working behind the scenes for His great glory, even if we cannot see it in the moment.
