My beloved friends,

This time of being shut-in has been difficult on many within our church family and the world over. For decades we have been told that we have no need for God. We have been told that we, as human beings, are in control. We have seen, over the course of the last month, how foolish those thoughts really are.

I want to remind you, though, that our God is sovereign, this has not taken Him by surprise, and He is actively working these circumstances to His glory and for our good.

We encourage you to tune in this Sunday for both a continuation of the ongoing Adult Bible Class at 9:00 a.m., as well as the 10:30 a.m. worship service. This week we will hear from my son, Jonathan Youssef, who is bringing a message about praying unceasingly. We will be streaming from The Church of The Apostles website as well as Facebook.

We invite you to worship with us in our homes from around the city and around the world, for nothing can stop God’s people praying and praising!

May the Lord continue to make His presence known to you in many ways that will comfort your heart during this time.

In His Service,

Michael Youssef, Ph. D.

Founding Rector
