I grew up in Buffalo, NY. The oldest of six kids, my Mom and Dad worked hard to meet the needs of our family. From a young age, I remember the people Fred Rogers called “the helpers,” who, through different times, especially during the holidays, helped our family. I wanted to be one of those people! From the moment I came to faith in Christ until now, I have devoted my life to a simple rule: “Go where need points the way…” With ministry experience in pioneer mission work, helping the urban poor and disadvantaged, to pastoring several churches, I now have the privilege of serving at The Church of The Apostles with a group of people who, in their ministry responsibilities and ministry roles, do so with Congregational Care at the core of all we do. The overarching verse and goal for my ministry is found in Romans 15:13 – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
