CONNIE MUSSELMAN: FOR OUR NATION AND WORLD
God is sovereign in the affairs of men and nations. Part of His sovereign plan is that we are to come to Him and intercede – to pray – for our nation and the world.
1 Timothy 2: 1-2 tells us that we are to pray for all men—prayers, entreaties, petitions, and thanksgivings—for kings and all who are in authority.
We are not alone in our prayer. Scripture tells us that as we pray on Earth, through the Holy Spirit, Jesus intercedes on our behalf in Heaven. With these prayer partners, we can be confident that God responds to His people, restoring them into fellowship with Him and with one another, and restoring and purifying hope along the way.

Remember that God is sovereign in the affairs of men and nations.
Set aside the time to pray and intercede for our nation and world.
