RAND EBERHARD: HOLY AND READY

If there’s one thing everyone has in common these days, it’s that we can all empathize with a season of stress and anxiety. Anxiety is based on the absence of guarantee, but in Christ and in Him alone, we are promised a future and welcomed into what Jesus describes for His followers as “the way, the truth, and the life.”

According to the Scriptures, before Jesus returns the body of Christ will be holy and ready, but this is only possible through diligent practice and study of the Word of God.

To continue to rediscover God’s Word and practice it in our daily lives, we must renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and live sensible and godly lives. In Jesus, we are His possession, so be zealous for good deeds. In doing this, God’s Word is upheld, and His glory will prevail in and through His church.
